Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY :

The VP, Internal Audit conducts risk assessments, monitors how the business is being governed and internal processes are working. Reviews the suitability of internal control design. He/she anticipates emerging issues and decides how best to deal with them, focus on financial and information technology systems/procedures/controls.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIIES:

  • Manages and lead the global internal audit function, which includes North America, Asia, Europe, and South America.

  • Supports the following key responsibilities of internal audit:

  • Financial and IT audits ensuring integrity of overall control environment, safeguarding of company assets and proper financial reporting.

  • Management and oversight of the Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX”) program.

  • Sets strategy and operating plan for financial and IT audits, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

  • Manages/assesses financial risk management on world-wide basis.

  • Manages Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process.

  • Builds strong relationships with external Auditors, provide support as needed.

  • Summarizes and present key control process and issues to Board of Directors and Audit committee.

  • Assists with accounting / finance related investigations, where appropriate.

  • The position reports to the Audit Committee Chair with direct management reporting to the CFO. Serves as a member of Finance Executive Leadership Team.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA required.

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, including 3+ years as head of a global internal audit organization.

  • 3+ years of public company audit experience.

  • Must have worked in an Internal Audit Department.

  • Experience with SEC public company reporting is required.

  • Experience with SOX 404 and internal control assessments is required.

  • Must be knowledgeable in US GAAP.

  • Experienced with manufacturing companies and cost accounting is highly preferred.

  • Experience with consolidation accounting and reporting with multi-national companies.

  • Adept with all aspects of the financial audit cycle including risk assessment and scoping, designing and executing audit procedures, and proposing and presenting audit recommendations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • MBA preferred; CIA or CISA a plus.

  • Big 4 audit experience preferred.

  • Internal Audit experience at a “Fortune 500” company a plus.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
