Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Metrex Director, National Accounts is responsible for working in conjunction with the Sales team and Marketing to cultivate, develop, and lead short and long term Metrex IPS sales strategies and tactics to maximize sustained sales growth within assigned IDNs and GPOs.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Grow sales and profits at our largest customers in the US market.

  • Agility to work across geographies, as the responsible point person within assigned accounts representing Metrex at the highest levels of leadership within IDNs and GPOs

  • Develop and propose contracts and plans to internal management for approval.

  • Negotiate contract terms and recommend language that meets both customer and company needs with management approval.

  • Work closely with the Sales team (SAMs) in responding to the needs of regional hospital systems.

  • Provide proactive and routine insights into customer trends and projections.

  • Regularly travel to customer sites, Metrex/Envista offices, industry events and sales meetings.

  • Measure and monitor contract compliance for customer and GPO rebates and other contracts offered as calculated by Commercial Operations, Finance and Marketing prior to execution.

  • Hold an business reviews with Metrex and GPO leadership on success of Contract

  • Identify, establish and manage short and long term strategies, tactics and relationships with key market customer groups which may include Long Term Care, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN), Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO), Integrated Health Systems, government and other managed market accounts.

  • Develop Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Purchase (RFP) for GPO, IDN, and contract sales.

  • Serve as the point person for both internal and external communications at the regional level. Create excellent relationships with customers to drive initiatives, secure resources, and develop best practices that create measurable sales results.

  • Manage contracts throughout their lifecycles.

  • Lead corporate initiatives to improve systems that will better evaluate financial impact of regional and national contracts as well as their effect on distributors and designated territories, minimizing the impact on Metrex.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent is required.

  • 7-10 years’ experience in Sales, Marketing, Sales management & National accounts where specific actions resulted in substantive performance enhancement for the organization.

  • Relevant experience working with large GPO/IDNs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Medical and Infection Prevention industry experience and financial knowledge is desirable.

  • An understanding of the dynamics within distributorships and experience in sales/marketing of healthcare is a plus.

OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Excellent communication (verbal, written and presentation) skills and team building.

  • Ability to coordinate with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Regulatory, and other areas as needed.

  • Ability to record, analyze, and write reports and business correspondence.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and the general public.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

  • Ability to develop and implement action plans.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to effectively drive accountability and business results through others.

  • Demonstrated mastery of financial acumen.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
